  • Fire Benders and anger management, Monte Cristo wisdom

Following article discuss, philosophical fictional and mindfulness approach in anger management. However, this does not provide professional opinion on controlling anger, only personal perspective. Destructive power of anger and fire Benders and Diablo response. Anger has destructive fire. So, this is often compared to a fire. Infact this is not a bad comparison at all, just like a fire, anger when it is present, makes the blood boil inside its own bucket, and faces go red, while ears start to burn hair like the rapidly spreading Palisade fire. Even firefighters would not be able to contain such a fire, without the help of nature. And this can be expected from every anger that we have. And trying to control anger is like learning to bend fire. We can appreciate how much similarity this does have with fire benders in popular movies. If you have watched Suicide Squad 2016, Diablo is a character who has special power of making a fire. Yet he lacks the needed power to control his own anger. So, according to the plot, once when he was in rage with his wife, he burned everything down killing his beloved. And only when the anger is subsided, he comes to consciousness and decide never to use the fire again. Similarly, when anger is there, we almost always lose our general calmness, and things often can go out of hand. And it is uncommon for us to realize later that we have created more harm with anger than the initial cause of this. Anger is like fire : https://unsplash.com/@tobbes_rd Road Rage and mindfulness Today while I was driving, the car behind me honked several times and all of a sudden, the driver was shouting to me, for driving slowly and blocking the road. Suddenly out of nowhere I saw anger creeped in, apparently to be blamed for no reason! I maybe driving slowly, but there was some traffic, and there was no way anyone else could drive faster. I could feel my blood boiling and ears turning red. If this guy came to a fight I would have fight till death in rage. I know it is bad. I know it is stupid to be angry. Then with all the wisdom I have gained through writing this blog kicked in. And I observed my anger like it is just another mental object . I did not claim it to be mine. Within seconds it was gone, and I was being rational again. I even did not think about the guy 100 meters beyond the incident, it disappeared that fast without any trace. And that was an achievement, as I have seen people keep carrying road rage, longer than that, even miles and bring it home. It became funny when after few miles, when I stopped for gas, the same guy was filling his car just Infront of me. I got down, just to show him that I was aware, and didn't even speak a word, didn't even look at him. I am sure, his mind was racing to start an ugly word exchange. I just smiled with the cashier and kept my calmness throughout. That was easy anyway as My angry hormones were all gone and I am an introvert anyway. I think it gave him an opportunity to react and control his anger as well. Have you ever been in a road rage? rage : https://unsplash.com/@abhi05 The count of Monte Cristo. I was a big fan of the novel. Although I cannot remember exact details, I used to read how Monte Cristo was plotted against by his enemies into prison. And he came back strong, as a wealthy Count, with years of suffering behind his back, now as a real gentleman. And he kept his anger hidden inside him, to conduct like a true nobleman, without making any suspicion in his enemy's mind. And took the chance of revenge when they were doomed by their own greed lured by him. I am sure not only me, but everyone also who read the novel and appreciated they might have done the same. They themselves becomes the count and be the judge of the enemies. And this is the third way to use anger. But can we say this is eviler than the first one? Three ways of anger management and pros and cons of each So far, we discussed three methods to respond anger. One is diablo way - Or to burn everything down by letting it lose then and there. Second is Monte Cristo way - Or to keep it hidden, control our conduct and strike back hard at everyone responsible when it is possible without any self-harm. Third is mindfulness way - To identify and acknowledge anger is another mental object and, it too will pass. Like all other mental objects, it only prevails as long as you are feeding with firewood, of some similar thoughts. I would not say it is easy to be angry. Often it is the opposite. It is hard to be angry and destroy everything, it takes time effort and cost a lot, physically and mentally. The easiest and the most effective method is the third. Which is acknowledging and letting it go. No need to suppress but being aware is enough. If we are aware when it is small, there is no chance for it to grow into a massive destructive fire. Countess : https://unsplash.com/@clevelandart What about Monte Cristo? That is real difficult question to answer and its philosophical. But, as I have discussed earlier, in the article Cockroach ethics , I would say it is still not necessary to crush cockroaches. Not because it is a sin and we will be dragged to the hell, there is no evidence so far for that. But because it is unnecessary. As longer we hold onto fire, no matter how small it is, it is going to burn ourselves down, either tissues or souls. Hence, let the mindfulness rain on anger when it is there. Hopefully it will benefit in the long run.

  • What is wrong and right?

Infact the exact, topic of this article should be what is wrong in right? However for the SEO purposes I have to put "And" not "In" which will totally change the meaning of the question. After all this is an article about wrong in right, I think this serves the purpose, so join in. I can give you examples, for what is wrong in right. I will start from simple ones and make it complex along the way and ending up proving there is wrong in every right thing of this world, and we are not capable of avoiding this error. Beach : Watch me drawing on Youtube What is wrong and right with Flat earth, physics and Chemistry Not longer than 500 years ago, people used to believe the earth is a flat land, ending up falling out of the sky. And it took courageous (I assume) men to voyage months battling ferocious gales to travel around the world and prove the earth is round. Maybe up until the telescope were built and seen through this, evening star may havebeen considered a star by the commoners. So, as time goes on when the technology advances, we will find out what is right is wrong after all. This has happened in physics, we moved from Newtonion physics to Einstein relativity and then to Quantum physics. And this field is advancing rapidly, maybe even faster than the smartphones by AppleInc. So, these new theories supress the old ones and find errors in them. Even mathematics, advances fast. Nowdays there are no professors in "All mathematics" or "All chemistry" There are subcategories, "Organic, inorganic, physical" or someone might be doing mathematics of a knot , all their lives. I call this learning to draw perfect circles . And they might even find tiny faults in their previous circles and find out a new model to represent concepts better and faster. Dolphins : Watch me darwing Youtube What is wrong in a mango tree? And, this happned to us as well. If you have forgotton. We first learned a mango is a tree, and coconut is also a tree. And they were correct for the grade 1 class. But when we were in grade 2 all of sudden mango was a broad leaf tree, and coconut is a palm. Now if we just applied our grade 1 knowledge, the answers we get are incorrect, and we won't get marks. So, grade 1 knowlege is just right but wrong at the same time. And it did not end up there. After all the additional things we learned in science, once we were in Botany we learned great deal about trees. Now even more classfications. And even without botany, life taught us there are hundreds of varieties of mango trees. And if we do not identify the correct type we might just be cheated by a vendor, with some cheap mango. Some lessons of life are hard earned at a loss. If we just say mango, answer is not correct. Relative truths. As you can see, this is a major problem in life. Something which we consider absolute truth in a some context will become a relative truth when it is challenged in another context. One such is time. What we see correct as teenagers is no longer valid in adult life. What we thought about our relationships are not correct when time goes on. So, is this true for every truth out there? And this is the major question for late David Foster Wallace . And even for any rational mindful person, who repeatedly get things Wrong! Is it my fault? Crows : Watch me drawing Youtube Who's fault is it? Absolutely not. It is not at all 'Our' fault. Infact, everything is relative. Someone can argue, if your consciousness does not exist, everything else would not exist. And there is no way of getting over this argument. Yes, I am talking about your consciousness not mine. If your consciousness does not exist, this article would not exist relative to your consciousness. However, it may still exist relative to my consciousness as long as I am aware of it. So, the existance of this article is a relative truth. It does and does not at the same time. And if you have followed the argument and the examples I have provided, you know there is wrong in every right, as right exist only relative to our own consciousness. Now you can become your own philosopher and ask the questions like, Is it true about myself? What about my soul? What about death ? and afterlife ? I will let a blank here, so you can comment.

  • Mindfulness, and 10 second Attention span of GenZ

Mindfulness is an asset anyone can have. The remarkable difference of it from any other asset classes you possess is, its available everywhere and anytime. Even when the life is chaotic and stormy. But are we harvesting enough wisdom from our mindfulness field? Or have we left it to grow wild with weed? 😁 Monarch caterpiller Attention span of GenZ Nope, it's not us. Generally GenZ doesn't come here looking for answers for the problem of life. GenZ is the generation after the millenia. The kids who were born with umbilical cord one hand and the smart phone on the other. And they will not know what mindfulness is, what silence is. As the marginally hybrid generation Y we have a foot in both worlds.  Youtube shorts. I recently discovered YouTube shorts. I have not used TokTok yet. However, I tried making some videos for YouTube shorts. It's far easier as I do not have time or energy to create 5 minute video on drawing. I barely find half an hour of undisturbed peace for drawing. So, a 15 second to 60 second option is attractive for me, being non creator. That's right! You read it correct. It's 15 to 60 second long. Infact all my videos so far In my channel are 10 seconds each ! In a world where everyone blame the attention span of GenZ for being limited I chose otherwise. I chose to show them the drawings took me one hour, in ten seconds. Because I know the value of 10 seconds of human consciouness. Monarch Larva - Cocoon First look matters. First looks matters for anything. From the job interview to a making a sale in a sports car facility, first look matters. Even when YouTube was not there, we used to say do not judge a book by the cover. Yet that is what we always did. We looked for the best cover, and maybe the review on the back. And it took us less than 10 seconds to turn down any offer. Not only for books, consider relationships. Imagine the first time we migrated, and had to change our school. Can you remember the first day? I am sure meeting new kids in the class it only took few seconds to decide where we are going to sit for the rest of the semester. And for that matter with whom we would like to spend our rest of the life with. Love ❤️ at the first sight right? And we watch films about it. I am sure in more than half of romantic dramas on Netflix is about a couple who fell in love at the first sight.   At this point I can conclude that I have given enough evidence to prove you that, first looks matters. And even a few second memory matters. And I have previously written a whole article about how I can remember only half a second of an seeing elephant for entire four hour journey that I took. It seems there is nothing wrong with attention span of GenZ. In fact they even represent a mixture of our genetic code. Who are we blaming? Monarch Butterfly. Importance of a second. Time and time again I will come back to time. And as you can see 10 seconds are important. But not only ten even one Is important, and if you ask a marathon runner he would tell. What about a hundredths of a second, and we can ask great ussain bolt and he would confirm.  How about thousandth of a second. If you ask formula 1 driver, he would confirm transmission time is only 2 milliseconds for modern formula 1 drive. I want you to imagine, the shortest time interval you possibly can imagine. And in these platonic forms, normal language and mathematics will dissapear. And even quantum would not exist. What will happen if everything stopped for that fraction of time? Will there be a universe after that? As we already know something to exist there has to be something before - chicken and egg. It is not to show you the absurdity of the thought, but to show you the life is a continous flow of fractions of nothingness . And only mindfulness can squeeze into this not math or science.

  • What a waste of time?

Watching films or being a couch potato. Its wonderful to have a stage name. I never doubted I should have one when I started to write about two years back. That's because I could be totally honest. Or even talk about crazy things without being prejudiced and, keep away the guilt which otherwise dirt my name. So, I can talk freely about time I have wasted in the past and even now, without your judgement. So, we can both learn about life, through this virtual unilateral discussion. I have been lazy in my life. I hardly watch a film nowdays. I always knew it is kind of a waste of time. On the other hand twice in my life, I have been a couch potato watching film after film. And I am going to tell you why it is a waste of time and not at the same time. Let's get on with our story of this young enthusiastic man. film : https://unsplash.com/@jakobowens1 What a waste of time? This young and enthusiastic man who was after his first college exams, was bored. And he found out that he had a thing for movies. It is not like nowdays. We could not watch movies on netflix, streaming on demand. No satalite television either. So, each day, everyday only one movie or two. And I can remember I have gone on watching movies for three months in a strech. All the movies that played on TV without over lap. And Hindi, was my faourite, and half of them with Sharuk Khan and Saif Ali Khan, featuring. Later in college years, the same enthusiastic man now in middle of twenties, after long stretch of absence of movies had time to watch again. And this time it was worse. Internet was a common door to door name, and there were thousands of movies stored in terabites ready to be watched. I have watched them all. From early 1990s to end of 2010, all the Hollywood. From all the saw series to even barely interesting classic french drama films with subtitles. And the duration and time wasted on this was staggeringly high compared to active productive work I have done. I used to sleep at 5 am after running movie marathons all night to wake up at 7 to go to lectures. I am not proud of doing that, infact it was an addiction after all. I was even ashamed. What a waste of time? All that time was wasted. I could have worked hard byhearting lists and lists after lists, reading every textbook, and going to every party. I could have enjoyed life travelling, sight seeing. Making a f---king decoration a collage on my wall with waste papers from the lecture notes. I could have written a song, learned to paint, or built a pyramid scheme to scam some people. But I did do nothing. Just binge eating and putting on weight. And university life even made me little fatter like a Tuna fish. Have you seen this fat tuna fish, filled with flesh captured from deep see? I am sure you will come across a fish cutting video on you tube one day, and remember this article when you do. Collage : https://unsplash.com/@jontyson Was it a waste of time? And that era was gone. Life happened, another long streak of struggles, exams, depressions and success and faliure. Just like Ferdinand Magellan, travelled from Atlantic ocean to Pacific ocean, 20s were gone and I was navigating th 30s in no time. Now, here is the point. In the depths of nowhere, while stranded like a sailship without wind, I was letting my ship to drift in the ocean currents. And I started a blog, this same blog you are reading now, just to kill my time and entertain the boaring thoughts of mine so that they do not turn against myself in an attempt of mutiny. And It worked. Slowly I was able to see the thoughts dance on the deck, to my own poems, and one by one those thousands of movies I have watched came to my mind. This time combined with all the information, gathered around various subjects, in and out of the university. And the international experise, I was able to put one plus one, and show that it is not always equal to two. But likely it can be six or even nothingness . Infact, if you follow some of my blog articles, you may find many examples I have given from movies. Just like in the movie, dreamers, they sing pieces of songs from old movies. I write articles on superman , megamind , troy , dead poet's society and even yes man . The list is endless And its all about philosophy and mindfulness. Can you see? It is not a waste of time? It wasn't a waste of time after all watching a hilarious film by Jim Carrey , as long as we are able to figure out what is going on. It can come handy at later time with a philosopy article. Now, this is not to encourage anyone to start watching endless film run on Netflix. I hardly watch a film, again anymore. I might, if I had time. But, currently I have enough base to continue writing until I die, If I wanted. So, that was not a waste of time after all. Batman of Gothem : https://unsplash.com/@devp10 Anything may not be a waste of time. But it is a good lesson. For whoever thinking that what you do today is not productive. It is not at all true. Even if you are just watching at the celing doing nothing, or some grass sway in the wind, it can be a productive work as long as you are mindful about what is happening. It can give you wisdom about life that nobody will be able to teach you in 15 hours of lecturing about it. So, the more real question we should be thinking right now is, are you just active listener to this continous universal lecture, or just passive mindless floating jellyfish ?

  • Who is at fault? Mickey mouse wisdom

Who is at fault? This is a frequent question we hear from everyone when something really goes wrong. And it feels like we are doing some damage control by doing it. However, If you ask a HR person, who is at fault? I would say he or she will not answer directly. Really speaking who is at fault is a question of the past, even in work setup, even in mindfulness. And I will explain both. Bottlenecks of life It is not long before I have wrtten about bottlenecks of life and fishbone diagrams. Infact, that is just like finding who or what went wrong. Sometimes we will exactly pinpoint it to who, what and where. Sometimes we would not. But more importantly we may find a multitude of reasons behind ommisions of commisions of individuals or groups. And if we get the big picture, we would find, it is due to the errors in the system that we use, can be upgraded so such faulty actions do not happen. Migrating birds in the lagoon Swiss cheese model - Mickey mouse wisdom Infact this is exactly what the Swiss cheese model suggests. If you do not know about it, I will explain. Have you seen how they draw cheese in cartoon diagrams of Mickey mouse? A block of cheese would have several bubbles in it. And if we cut square pieces from different parts and line them up and look from side, we would not see through to the other side from any of the holes. But if we repeatedly do this experiment with 100 more chese blocks, we would find one rare occation where the holes do line up. And that is exactly what happens when something goes wrong. Infact the "Who is at fault?" question technically answers only about the last piece of cheese which had a hole in it. Forgetting all the fifty pieces which had holes and lead you there freely. And this is a great wisdom to have for someone who wants to become a CEO, or live a mindful life. Mass shooting I can give you an example. Imagine, a mass shooting happens in somewhere. And first question which every media try to answer is who is the Shooter and his background. And after a week nobody would even talk about it. Unless we look at everything about that person, still we would not find out what went wrong. We might attribute it to a bad treatment he got from the society, a mental illness, free access to guns and even watching too much violent films. And behind each of these reasons, there are untracable amout of reasons. Even human development of gun powder is a reason for a mass shooting to happen. But, I would be called a mad person if I say it as a reason in a court. Infact it is only philosophers goes that deep into a question after all. But, for different people they can stop at different levels. News agents - will find reasons, why he became a mass shooter. Police - will only needs to find the shooter and his associates. Chief in charge of the police - will find out what went wrong in the police response The policy makers, will look into the trend in gun violance and firearm laws. The defence lawyer will find out good things in the shooter (only few holes in the cheese), than anyone else, while the procecutors will identify this a violent crime (rotton chese with many holes). The list goes on, and you get the picture. It all depends on which level are you seeing the problem. If I am far away corner of the world that news wouldn't even matter. And I would not go into any depth of it. Common Crows Mindfulness on ants. I will end up the who is at fault there, to tell you a little story of mindfulness on ants. I was watering the plants other day. And after watering I saw bunch of ants were fleeing through grass, carrying their eggs. It seems I have flooded their beloved home, and created a crisis. And my little daughters were discussing "Who is at fault?". And the answer is obvious at first, "It is the dad" He watered the plants, and drowned the ants!. And then the wisdom kicked in. Maybe they could not rationalised their father being a cruel person. They shouted, "It is not the dad, It is the sun at fault!" And I was even suprised. That is a wonderful explanation. And it is the Sun's fault. If the tropical sun did not burn the grass in the first place, I would not have to water it. They stopped there. And yet, with mindfulness wisdom, I did identify the truth is it was nobody's fault. Everything in the universe is so much interconnected . And this is why I argued lung cancer is a reason for lung cancer in the first place (Check out the download). It is bizzare, yet that is one way to overcome the guilt of the past we carry. Not only that it can be the gateway to profound wisdom which will liberate us from all the burden of life. Whom did you find any fault lately? In others? In you? Take home message? Really? do you even need a take home message? I would say, take home message is let it sink deep into you, if you find fault in anyone, it is just that you haven't seen deep enough into any reasons. And If you end up fault is in you, Still look deep into yourself. Whales and the Surfer

  • Why Mindfulness has nothing to do with your life.

Surviving a current. Once I read this incredible story. Which I do not know from where, but it gives a strong message about the perspective of mindfulness. Story is about a swimmer, I will narrate it with a fresh perspective as I am not entirely sure about the exact location, but I can assure it is real. Floating life "One day I went for swimming in the nearby bay, with my dad. While my dad was relaxing in the sun. I got bored and went for a swim. It was a sunny day and not a sunday. So there were not much people on the beach. The lifeguard was on the watch few hundred meters away. And I was swmiming. I started to float. With the sun bathing my front, I drifted on the cool water, until I realised something was wrong. I noticed I do not hear the sound of the waves. And I looked back, "Oh my god, I was so far away from the beach" Maybe about a mile maybe more. I have Drifted. I did not realise, what happened, as I did not swim. It was ten minutes ago I went for a swim. And second by second I am drifting further away. And I am being washed away from an ocean current. It was slow but steady and strong current. I am threatened with never seeing my father or my family again. It is hardly possible anyone to notice me in the sea, from the beach. As nobody would. Its so far away to see the tiny floating head of mine above the surface, and the lifeguards were not actively watching. "I thought about my options. I can try to swim, and overswim the current. I thought about it. I had time for eternity. Then I realised, that was not a good option. Even an olympic swimmer would not make it agianst this current. So, I decided to float as long as I can. Maybe someone would miss me and start looking for me. Maybe the lifeguard would see me from his little telescope. And I did. I did preserve my energy and contemplated all my life, prayed for god. And the rescue came. Rescue came not from the beach but from the sea. A surfer bike noticed me and came closer to inspect and helped me out of the water and out of danger. If that would not happened, that would have been the end of my short span of life." Why mindfulness has nothing to do with your life. There one strong message about looking at life from the story. I would not advice you on what to do when you are faced with an ocean current. Although this perticular stratergy worked for the guy in the story, it would not be the best option for everyone. And it is unlikely we ever face such a situation. But, what would you do if you are faced with a current that you surely know that you cannot out swim? Ocean : https://unsplash.com/@inghelza Dylan and Catherine Life is like an ocean current. Slowly drifting towards the sea, dragging everyone of us to the bottom over time . This is why Dylon once said, the most scariest thing for him is "The unstoppable march of the time slowly guiding us towards the death". Even if you agree, with me or not it happens. We have two choices to make. One is to be scared like little Catherine. Not about the inevitable march of time, but about the messangers of truth or "Dylan" in this case. We can be scared about everyone who reminds us death. We can be scared about TV advertisements, corpses, war, famine and disease. We can live all our lives with fear and pray. Or other choice is to be mindful. Mindful about the current, the floating life and the meanining of life . Infact mindfulness is just understanding there is no point trying to swim. And exert ourselves. Help is not going to arrive from the beach or the sea, as we all are just floating jelly fish in the current of the universe. We just have to understand it and let it be, as it is. Whe we understand this fact who might know we will float enough time in the universe until we are permenently away from such currents of the nature. So, there is hope after all. And it is effortless. So, mindfulness has nothing to do with your life. Its just letting it float without disturbing the flow.

  • Why anything is a thing?

It is simple. And it is misterious. It is extremely interesting and curious. Why anything is a thing? Why is the sun, the Sun? Not the moon? Why is the moon the moon not a star? Why is a tree a tree ? Not a leaf? Why is a leaf a leaf not a caterpillar who eats it? I assume you are interested. And if you are not I do not invite you to read further than this. There is no point. Minds are not equal. What interests me is not inherently to be interested to everyone. But occationally there are similar minds, hence I invite you to read further nonetheless. Mountain Fiji Mountains and cats I was looking at the range of mountains in front of me. They rise so high into the sky that clouds benind the mountains fail to pass them. They barely fill over the top of some less tall peaks towards me. And for more than thirty kilometers between me and the mountains contains empty space. Looking at this scenary I asked myself why is a mountain a mountain? Not a cat? Or could it have been a cat? I imagine an alternating universe where those hight rising gigantic things which kisses the clouds are called cats. And the white color draping floating things are called mouse. In this alternating universe nobody would laugh at me for saying I was mesmarised by the mouse which kind of drapped over the range of cats. And as you can see that is not an impossibility. If the ancestors who named the mountains if they did it as a cat, and clouds were named mouse, we would be that alternating generation to be using same names, and nobody would laugh at me. In this crazy story of cats and mountains, I am not alone. But I think it is excessive and unnecessary to name things differently. Just the other day I saw this one dude, who had made a blog about universal power. He has made a raidcal approach by naming everything differently. He would name mindfulness -> the pressurisablehog and calmness -> universalchi, etc. And he spoke like a next great philosopher of the era. And I was laughing myself, thinking the deep shit this guy was in. He missed the point. It is not wrong naming a mountain a mountain. And there is nothing wrong group of individuals deciding to name a mountain a tree. Colors This leads us to the question why anything is a thing? Think about it. If we go back in time, anything is a thing for the ease of communication. There was a time in the human history that mountain was not a thing . Then humans named it, most likely over the generations like anything which evolved, languge did evolved like chicken and the egg . And just like mountains everything became a thing. And that is how anything became a thing. For the ease of our communication, and better modelling the otherwise modelless world. However during this process of evolving human consciousness or the information sphere , we forgot the track of the process, and we started to worship gods in mountains forgetting mountains are creations of ourselves. At some point you were born, into this evloving world of human knowledge. And our parents and teachers taught us about mountains and trees. For that matter philosophy was not a common language in schools, as it sound crazy. But without it we are just clueless on anything and everything. We start to belive in a world which merely exsist only as long as the human consciousness prevails, and for this jumble of knowldege, new things keeps on adding day after day. Dreams are created and everyone start chasing them, and we teach our kids same things that we even do not know how to came by into our minds, and I see them cry for things that do not even exist, yet I am unable to tell them. Beach What Can we do about it? So, what is the solution? And as I mentioned earlier, it is not rational to invent and replace the current block of information and words with a new set. It is like trying to re-inventing the wheel. Yet, the solution is mindfulness. To remind ourselves not to get involved in this artistic world of humans greatest creation, and understand the nothingness behind everything we see, hear and feel. Otherwise, we might react, and fear things which are not even there! And sadness is one such thing. Can you name some more?

  • Mathematical model of the world - Part 2

Previously in the article on modelling the world in a mathematical function, we explained why such a function is a continous one. Here in this article we will discuss some other ways to understand function. As you can see there is a clear link of this with the mindfulness . Mathematical model of the world 1 Imagine a flower blooming. This is something which can be considered a single such function we observe in the natural world. Yet this is not something singular. It has collection of other functions to it. Consider the weight of the flower. The color of the flower. The aroma and the size of it. The abstract function of the blooming flower that see is a collection of similar abstract functions. We can say the "time" is a variable in all of these and so much so similar to a mathematics we can factor out time. Blooming of flower = time( panels +aroma+ color + weight + ....) As you can see each of these small functions themselves are collection of some more smaller ones, in microscopic and atomic subatomic level. When we go more deeper into these abstract levels we understand a blooming of flower is something entirely abstract as we do not end up something real. Model 1 : https://unsplash.com/@sirioberati There are some more facts we have to consider. As time is a variable in each function if time is zero again function entirely becomes zero. But how can time be zero? Imagine you divide the time infinitely, would you end up with a zero instance of time? I can see the similarity of this question with zenos paradoxes. Specially the arrow paradox where solutions suggests that we cannot assume the time is made up of instances. Only when we want to get a meaning that we have to assume time is made of instances. Truly speaking we cannot grasp the meaning of continous time. Mthematical model of the world 2 We can expand our knowledge of this function by elaborating more. Let's look at the world as a collection of all the functions. It would appear as following. World that we see = time ( blooming of flower + geological rock + floating leaf + etc + etc .. ) This is the most likely model that we describe the world with and this function  is the way of looking at the world. This is closer yet still not a complete model of the world. As this model includes everything except the observer in it. It includes every other observer but not the one who is observing. Model 2 : https://unsplash.com/@joshrh19 Consider the following Mathematical model of the world 3 World = Observer . Time ( collection of all the functions ) This is more complete mathematical model of the world. In this function everything is included. Now we can look at some important facts about the world. Just like time, we assume the observer is not a null value. Otherwise the world has no meaning or become a nothingness .  Other important thing is observer is in every other function observed. Just like time. It is the other end of the spectrum. The phone you see, the jug on the table or each and everything would not exist unless it is multiplied by you. Science generally ignores this fact, and only philosophy gives this a value. And hence philosophy is more accurate when it comes to understanding the world. As observer is multiplied by time if the time does not existing neither the observer nor the world or any other function. model 3 : https://unsplash.com/@clemono In mindfulness, we look at ourselves . This existing self which floats through time and ask ourselves what is existing what time. And in any function we try to understand all the components and see whether what meaning is there. And that is the way to dissolve the illusion called life, death and even cancer.

  • Why Faliure is path to success?

Why it is right to get wrong? Lightening When it is a storm, rarely we get chance to observe lightening. Until we developped fully equipped video cameras , which can capture ligtening, in slow motion we did not appriciate what is happening. Now anyone can watch it in youtube. And if you see, the super charged particles in the rain clouds, initially try to find optimal path by sending small streaks of charged particles. And often they end up in no where. And after such faliures suddenly it detects the correct route and "Bam" all the energy is unleashed and we can see and hear from 10 miles away. So, even lightenning gets it wrong in the first attempt! lightening. : https://unsplash.com/@davidmoum Maze runners. Have you seen maze navigator games contest? These robot enthusiasts get together once a year to choose the winner of the best maze navigator Mouse. It's interesting, before the proper run the mouse is given chance to navigate the maze. And they often end up in dead ends. But, this wrong data is used by the mouse to detect optimal and the best route to its target in the proper run. Isn't it amazing, to know the sucess of a maze winner is determined bt the failures? I don't think anyone would appriciate this. Why faliure is path to success? In life we fail sometimes. If you are 1/10000 who did not yet, it may be there in your future as well. I am not discouraging or bringing bad luck. If you ask JK Rowling or Mark Suckerberg, or anyone else who is considered successful, will tell that there is no secret formula. Or magic seven steps to success. It is sheer hard work combined with inherent passion and tiny drop of luck from the universe. And guess what most often it comes after 100 such faliure attempts. Well you might disagree showing me a pilot. Faliure to land a plane would end up in a crash. Yet I cannot agree, I am sure all of the pilots did fail in their simulation landings. And only after repeated attempts they learn how to achieve that 100% success and confidence. And that goes to everyone who is at the top of their game. And this is the reason why faliure is the path to success. As you can see I use the word game deliberately because we infact are really playing the gigantic game. Sometimes as individuals, sometimes as races, sometimes as nations, sometimes as species. But we are so much involved in this game so much so that we have forgotten we are just playing. Only criminals lawyers and occasional philosophers know that it is a game. Maybe some few elite politicians and crazy rich 😜 Asians come under this category. But for the commoners like you and me, we do not even know we are playing the game. Why? Maze : https://unsplash.com/@parrish It's because our parents and teachers did not know this wisdom. If they knew they would tell us, or better teach us it is ok to fail an exam. Because it is just a stupid game we humans inherently play as adults. Important thing is to identify which game is you are good at and go there and play till you die. In that game, there would be no faliures as you are doing it not to win. And it can be simple things like feeding chicken in a chicken farm . Hapiness can be there if you love it! Do you think Einstein did mathematics because he wanted money? Do you think Pablo Picasso painted because he wanted to be famous? Do you think elon send rockets because he wants to burn tonnes of money ? Maybe 10% of it is true. Yet 70% it is due to the fact it is their passion. So faliure does not matter in places where your satisfaction comes from passion. So if faliure stops you from doing something, maybe you should start doing something else. After all the life begins at 40 according to some hence you are never late. Let's move onto some philosophical aspects now. Inherently we will talk about death.  Games that we play will end at death. Just like that poof.. gone. Everything you love will vanish, and even if you came from afterlife nobody would even agree the decaying body is yours anymore, so much so all the valuebles we collect. If you become a ghost even your friends and family would run away, unless you are a friendly ghost like casper. So even if we look at the faliure from this point of view, you would understand faliure does not matter as we all are doomed anyway. But why not reach the clouds before you fall back on earth? Steps to sucess : https://unsplash.com/@camstejim The second point I wanted to show you is if you look at your life from a one second after your death, even the success would not matter? Did you see that? Our eyes are not used to see this fact because we are always looking at life from this side of death. We are unable to visualise ourselves after death. There is good chance that all the materialistic and spiritual ties to this life would be cut off at our death. When we understand this I find it easy to comprehend the mentality of seekers of truth. I see nons, priests, monks and countless others, give up their burden of involvement of persuit of happiness of the game our society in search of a truth. And I see they also start to play their own game without understanding what is happening. Some end up not bathing for years, some end up doing meditation under trees. Some end up coming back to the same place found nothing. And some I can see smile, when they realise 😄 it's all the fool the same. You carry your own fool to the palace, to the forest and to the Mars, and you would not find happiness or peace. Unless you know you are constantly being fooled by your mind even looking for virtue in a world of nothingness .

  • World of Color - philosophy

I have been drawing. So delayed writing articles past few days. It was fun, a whole new arena to explore. Of course I loved drawing as a child, yet at some point, I stopped. Not that I did not try to draw again. As I can remember I always had trouble chosing colors. Although I tried to copy draw, it did not represent the reality, as color I have chosen never represented what I see. And I thought this is a problem in judgement. Then I read the book on color theory. And understood that colors do not behave stand alone. It is not single colors. It is the interaction of colors which makes a scene. I learned about hues, saturations, and chromas. Not by definition but by intuition. And with this new knowledge I drew the fan regulator on the wall. Just using a simple paint program on my old samsung phone. It was difficult to draw the edges correctly, however I managed to represent what I see more accurately this time. And following is the image. Fan regulator on the wall Photograph Looking at the world in colors As you can see, it captures the essential details of the image. Although there are so much detail I have used only minimal amount of colors, to represent what is so sophisticated in reality. If we analyse the original image pixel by pixel thre would be hundreds of different colors. Yet, I have only used five or six. And It made me happy doing it. After learning about colors, which is information, I recieved, made me look at the world in a different way. I can give you another example. Look at the following drawing I made, and the original image, and it was done only using three dull colors. I was also suprised how such complicated scenary is abstracted by few colors. More importantly, this is what our eyes have been doing all day. It's my own personal approximation of a world that I see. Just like a monkey seeing its own reflection in the mirror. Lagoon Lagoon Photograph Now when I look at something, I see the colors. I think about how I can draw that. Just like the other day, when I was driving, I saw the sunny lagoon. Bright tropical sun, which is even harder to look at. It is complicated, so much detailed, but eyes, onced used to look at the world in colors, can approximate. And that is what I did in the following image. And I have been experimenting with these colors. Which you also can do if you are interested. Sunny lagoon Philosophy in colors. Now, here is the interesting part. The world I see, did not change. What changed was the information, I had recieved about the world. Just like I bought a new pair of spectacles . Similarly, I am sure, a mathematician sees the world in numbers , a physics student see functions . Did you see Charlie Puth making music, live on the Jimmey Kemel Show? Just with a sound of a cup when tapped with the spoon. It was incredible. And I am sure he hears a melody in every sound! So, if the colors that you see the world, are not bright enough, are not sunny enough and are too sad, I suggest you change your glasses, like I did. So you can see the world in different way. Maybe in a philosophical eye. But do not forget, it is just an image after all, created by the magic of mind. And that is the art of magical mindful living.

  • Money cannot buy happiness, 3 reasons why.

Reason 1, Will you ever be rich? First reason comes from simple math. How much money do you need to be happy from your current situation? I am sure you are spending a whole lot of time thinking about this question in your life. Let's look at some numbers. Coral draw I am sure whatever the amount you are thinking in dollars easily comes into the average earnings of top 1% of your society. Now, that there is a problem, as it is likely you belong to 99% of the population. What are the odds of you moving into top 1% of this so called average income category. Very very unlikely. It is a doomed fate for most of the unlucky 99% of us. I am not talking about the ones who are being successful, with constant effort and perseverence, you might. There is no magical formula, it will be a constant push and hard work. Yet you are not guarenteed this is going to work, or stay there once you reach. As you can see, if we tie our happiness with finacial success, invariably lot of our society will become unhappy. As they have shattered dreams at the end of their lives. And the truth is we don't have to. We don't have to tie our happiness with money. After a ll money is just a value we given to valueless papers by social conventions. Instead you can give a value to something else. What about art? What about kindness? What about self discovery? Reason 2: World most happieset person, is he rich? Mattiheu Ricard is considered as the most happiest person in the world. How much money do you think he possess? He owns nothing. I don't think he assoicates ownership to his own robe that the is wearing as He is a french Buddhist monk. Does this really mean the happiness is inversely propotionate to the money? More money some person has less happy they are? Is that the devorce rates of top owners of our country are higher? I would not dare to leave a conclusion as such. Infact we can disscuss this issue in our case scenario next. However, as I can see, happiness having no assoication with money, would be more appropriate, than a positive or negative impact. Lighthouse at night Reason 3: Can you stay happy rich? Imagine you get a 1000 dollars from a lottery. What would you do? If you take a piece of paper and plan, what you would do, you will find out that to do everything 1000 dollars is not enough. What about 1000000 dollars. I am sure you think you would be a lot happier with it. But the problem is, you will feel this as long as you do not have this. Once it becomes something you posess, it would not be enough for your needs, and the mind would move into making it 1000001 dollars instead. And you will find out suddenly there are Lamborginis and Privates Jets that you cannot buy. If you look at this problem, it is exactly like the Jim Carry suggested, about his search for golden globes. Money is a moving target, which we can never reach, and once you do reach, it will move further. Why do you think millioniers want to become billioners and billioners want to race to mars? Exactly, that is because they haven't understood happiness is not in numbers anyway. In conclusion to why money cannot buy happiness In conclusion, we can say that happiness is entirely, inside us. It is not external. You can just be happy, just the way you are . And that is no more illusion than happiness provided by money. I am sure, everyone needs money, cannot become a monk, yet we are going to suffer, if it becomes the source of our happiness. I would rarther, believe, it is coming from innner peace, or truth, or awareness. In that way, the happiness would never dry up in my life. What is your philosophy of happiness? Do you still believe in numbers? Thank you for reading why money cannot buy happiness

  • Life and death - Philosophy

Monday Tuesday wendesday Thursday..  back again to Monday. We used to sing all day long. When we were kids. We learned about months of the year, and the colors of the rainbow. It seemed easy to remember when rhymed. And kids have just discovered it is cyclical. It is the same thing starting over. And I having a philosophical and mindful ear and heard it otherwise. What if it is wrong! What if nothing I cyclical? And there are plenty of things to show infact that is the case. Swimming life The case of the days. It is true by convention, we have decided days of a week, to be cyclical. And that is one of the most arbitary and bizarre invention of human kind. Why seven days? We know today never comes back. But we assume Mondays will come. Another week will come. But is it correct way to understand the world? A day would never come back, yet we say it will.  If you go to the space station for a month, you would notice bizzare nature of days doesn't end there. Days are only applicable and make sense to the ones who are on earth. In space you cannot have days, unless you think like an earther, and take your watches there. So when we inhabit Mars, our system would need adjustments to the Mars rotation as well. We can't have earth days on Mars. This simple fact will make us understand, even years and lightyears, seconds and minutes are defined relative to something. Yes, there are days and there are not. Yes, there are seconds and there are not Yes there are weeks and there are not. Can you see the problem, we cannot understand any truth if we chose to believe and live in a lie. Let us understand and observe this truth about non, cyclical nature of time. Or unidirectional nature as scientists call it. Floating life Kids names and adult names From counting days , kids move to a different question. It is amazing how there minds create novelty. And here I am stealing there ideas. It is true, we all steal from our teachers, parents and everyone around us.  So, kids wanted to know about names. Their question went like this. "Dad, was your name the same when you were a kid?" And obviously it is. Then they say "If that is so, then everyone has a kids name". Can you see the similarity. It is just like the weeks of the day. It is like we are reusing Monday. You cannot name all the 365 day's of the year with different names. Nobody would remember as our attention and memory span is very limited. We would have to carry a chart, everywhere if we tried that. Similarly, we cannot use a different name for each day. I cannot be Tom on Monday, Tim on Tuesday. So we use the same name. But this convention hides true fact about ourselves. Infact we ourselves posess an ever-changing function which is called life. Yet using same name hide the fact of changing selves. It should be a different name for each and every second. What about for every millisecond? After all a lot of things about our bodies changes in a micro second. Yet using same name hides this fact. And makes an illusion that something persisted over time. Infact, what was there was ever changing function. Pinnacle - about life and death - philosophy Rowing life We have built a strong base for our pagoda with our argument. Now it is time to add a pinnacle. How about death? Can we understand death with above wisdom? If all what is called life is ever changing function each fraction of time, death is just another arbitary state. It's not you lived and you died. You by your name wasn't there to die. You didn't persist even for a second, its just an illusion created by your name. If you haven't persisted, what is going to die? Can you see how the illusion of death creates in our mind?  If you ask me what is death then, I can only say, it is just life, just different ends of the same stick . Life is death, death is life. And both are creations of our minds. Which we cannot convert to a true meaning .
