  • Ignorance is a bliss - Sylvia Plath

Teachers, they influence us in early life. And when they do good, it shapes our future, markedly. Just like a tree, in early life, when it is bend with the sunlight. For the whole life of the tree, the curves will remain visible, and it will add to the beauty of the nature. One of my teachers said, 'Look out for the ones, who love nature, look out for the ones who cry, there are few, but they will have a pure heart.' I thought, if that is true, why? Consider the following saying by Sylvia Plath. “It's a hell of a responsibility to be yourself. It's much easier to be somebody else or nobody at all .” — Sylvia Plath When I read this, I agreed on the first part of it. It is a hell of a responsibility to be yourself. It takes time and effort to build a career. A self that tallies with your own image. Mostly there are flaws, and we all agree with ourselves to forgive us in these flaws, otherwise the clash can lead us to unhappy places. It is hell of a responsibility to be a mother, be a father, be a child, a good one. It is a hell of a responsibility to be a lawyer, a policeman or a carpenter. It is a hell of a responsibility to be a ruler and a follower . Do you agree? If you take whatever you are doing seriously with consciousness, it is a hell of a responsibility to be yourself. But everyone, complaints it is a hell of a responsibility. But everyone wants to be somebody right? They all want to be somebody. But I do not agree it is much Easier to be somebody else or nobody. If you think becoming nobody is becoming a follower, not a leader. Or some hidden forgotten figure in a co-operate scale company. I would say, no. That is also somebody. A Begger is somebody. It is hell of a responsibility to be a Begger. You have to give up all your shame, of being dependent, and put your hand on the face of people, with a fake sad face, to beg for something, to keep your always hungry stomach at rest and always empty pockets with coins. It is a hell of a responsibility to be a Begger. So, if that is not nobody, who is nobody? Who is nobody? Nobody is someone who do not want to be somebody. Who is looking inside of himself and understand the somebody in them. Who is questioning this somebody until he figures out that there is nobody. And still capable of living with the society with full of somebodies and following the rules of nature help others to realize the concept of nobody. Who is capable of becoming such a self? Those are the people who looks out at nature and isolate themselves with that nature for the purpose of understanding simple truths it provides. Who cries not only when they are in pain, but when a small ant drowns in the sink when he flushes the water down the drain. And ask question why? Why it is painful inside. Those are the philosophers, and seekers, who asked the questions why one child of same parents becomes a lawyer when the other becomes a psychopath. Ignorance is a bliss. This is where ignorance is a bliss. I see majority of our society is grossly ignorant to these facts. Facts of nature that is cruel enough to feed innocent chicks of a hummingbird to a slithering snake. A nature that is cruel enough to imprison ourselves to a cobweb created in our own minds. If you do not get these thoughts, it is a bliss! You can lead a wonderful life, of happiness and joy if you are content with what you have. You can cry when you are hurt and you can smile when you are happy, just like everyone else. And you will die, as somebody, without ever understanding, the nature who tricked nobody.

  • Simple truths - David Foster Wallace

This blog is about mindfulness. That is a simple truth. Why? Because mindfulness is the key to all other truths. You may disagree. You may say, not at all. Truth is written in books, in English. I would not disagree with you. I would agree that what is written in books, is truth. What you believe is truth. But it is just a relative truth. Relative to you. Consider the following quote by David Foster Wallace. " The Truth has nothing to do with knowledge and everything to do with awareness of what is so real and essential, what is so hidden in plain sight all around us all the time, that we have to keep reminding ourselves, 'This is water, this is water.' " - David Foster Wallace This quote is from David Foster Wallace’s famous commencement speech, “This is Water,” delivered at Kenyon College in 2005. In this speech, Wallace emphasizes the importance of awareness and mindfulness in everyday life. He suggests that the most significant truths are often the ones that are hardest to see because they are so familiar and omnipresent. By saying “This is water,” he encourages us to recognize and appreciate the fundamental aspects of our existence that we often take for granted. If you would think truths are written in books. That is a misleading, idea. As I have discussed earlier in philosophy of language , it is just a tool to deliver a message. But this message is always erroneous as the language is not a natural 'thing'. If you really want to know simple truths about life you may want to tap into the awareness or mindfulness as they call it nowadays. Does this mean you have to chant, "this is water, this is water", every time you drink a cup of tea? Definitely not! Again, mindfulness is also a tool. Theory will point out everything is relative, but its only mindfulness which will show that everything is. I can show you some simple facts. Let's do the same example given by Mr. Wallace. Simple truths about a glass of water. Let's look at a glass of water. Imagine you have a glass of water in front of you. Maybe you already have a one. And you can use some other simple object you see. There is no doubt you see the glass of water. If we ask 1000 people what is in front of you, they will answer, a glass of water. That would be the correct answer in any scientific session. Now, let's be 100% true to ourselves in answering following questions. Close your eyes, and now, if someone asked you is there a glass of water? what would be your honest answer. I am sure some of you will say yes. And others will say, I do not know. If you are in the former group, I would ask you to stop reading the article further and come back when you are more honest at the end of your life and read the rest of it. Because for a 100% honest person, they cannot answer the question with a yes or no. Because for a glass of water to be present in front of them, they must first be aware of it via their sensations. Once the sensations are cut off, there is only a doubt. If you want to read more on this phenomenon, I suggest you read the article on consciousness . Now this is a simple truth. So, I have proven that the glass of water in front of you is a relative truth to your consciousness. Because its presence is doubtful, just when you close your eyes. There are more ways we can see such simple truths about a glass of water. As it is interesting I will show you another. Imagine you drop all the water on the table and keep the glass on the table. Now, everything you called "Glass of water" are still there on the table. But where is the "Glass of water" now. You would say, it is just a name for the formation, of 'water inside the glass'. The problem is this applies to everything. This applies not only to the Glass of water, but This also applies to the water, water molecules, atoms, subatomic particles, the glass, silicon, atoms, subatomic particles. All these are just names. What is truly out there, as a glass of water is something we can never see. Because we can only see some abstract level which is far above than what is truly there. No matter how much the science is going to improve in future generations, they would still be stuck in some level of abstraction. Awareness plays a role in identifying and showing us these simple relative truths about life. Like I have said earlier, all written information is partially true. Hence, you will have to see for yourself with this information to grasp the true meaning of these words, which were passed forward by our past generations.

  • Power of free will and evolution.

What will you do, if you have the power of free will? Well, you have been already doing that. We all are believers of free will. As individuals, as a society. This is the basis of all the rules and regulations, although we did not mention it. We agree we have a free will and by these social conventions we agree to respect others free will. Not only humans also animals. Hence even animal ethics. So, fundamentally it is wrong to ask such a question like "Do you have a free will?" If you do not believe that everything will crumble. You can read more on such deterministic worlds in following articles on free wil l. However, I will show a story of evolution. Power of free will in evolution There is some evidence for evolution. Whether we liked it or not. Consider the following. In time of industrial revolution, there had been lot of mines in some parts of Europe. And following demand for such unearthed material began to cease, at the end of the war, these mines were grossly abandoned. As it happened the domestic cats who used to be parttime entertainment for the workers were also abandoned. After some time, being in dark places, these cats evolved few generations. Once the mines were re discovered people were surprised to see, that these cats, were essentially blind, but had the ability to hunt and survive in the total darkness. A new cat species had evolved. It is difficult to assume that the evolution, only involved random mutations. Maybe the willpower of some consciousness is enough to make changes in the materialistic world. Willpower is an essential thing not only for evolution and survival. It is essential for us to function as humans, or animals. If someone loses their will to survive, in a matter of days they will be dead. Will is needed for you to get up and do some work, to prevent the hunger keeps coming back. Although it seems it is a futile process, the reasons behind this cycle of life are not yet broken, hence will keep on rolling. So, what drives the life? What drives the life is our choice. Our ability to like and dislike things is essential to every human and every animal. How tiny they are, there is a tiny will, to keep on living. When the nature betrays the will, they will tend to cheat the nature by reproduction. Evolution shaping our free will When we were first introduced to biology. First day, in the class we were taught that, the ultimate goal of all the animals and plants is reproduction. What does this mean? Once you have done your deed of reproduction, it doesn't matter you live or die. If you think you love your offspring because of your free will. I would say think twice. Can you not love your children? Occasionally we find that there are some souls which tries to go against the nature, and not love their offspring and their genetics will perish, just like their free will. It seems, at least evolution has shaped our free will, and our free will have shaped our evolution. It seems One is the reason for the other. So, what is this knowledge important for you and me? I think it is an evolutionary error that humans are capable of questioning their own willpower. But I hardly see anyone doing it reasonably, and you know why. The one who questions their own will, will understand the mechanics of life. And see the mechanism of the thoughts and understand the dragon scroll is empty . Just like the Camus suggested, whether we liked it or not, the life will drag on like the waves of the sea , like a floating leaf on water. Hence, this understanding will weaken their will. Consequence? Once weakened the will, will eventually disconnect from life. Instead of searching for happiness, such a consciousness will find peace, even in chaos. And disappear like a forest fire, which stops at the end of the sea, as it doesn't find anything else to burn. Will you take such a journey? With will of course!

  • Deterministic world and free will - part 2

Recently it came to me the idea, that arguments of determinism and free will, there is a middle ground. When we look at the small components of life, or our day to day activities we see our actions carry something like a free will. As example since the day begin, you may have made some choices, like what to drink in the morning, a cup of coffee, a glass of water or some milk. You may have decided to go to work or be at home. But, when we look at the big picture, life seems to be a random walk, like the dog, the boy and the mathematician story. And more about these determinism and free will you will find in my previous article. I did not know much about it back then and the article end up without conclusion. And I think the conciousness is wiser a little better than those days that, we can try to answer the question of determinism vs free will, just a little push towards of more. Estern vs Western paterrn of thinking. If you read the article on wikipedia on determinism and free will you would find that it devides arguments into two sections. One ,western and one eastern. The westerns argue determinism and free will as two opposing arguments. However easterns argue (specially in buddhists according to wiki) that world is neither determinstic or free will. What does this mean, and what is the importance of knowing this. Can our practice of mindfulness answer such a question like determinism? Some examples of deterministic world and free will. Imagine our birth, and death. Which we have no control at all most of the time. We cannot chose the time and place we are born, and we cannot choose our death either. But, like we discussed earlier we choose or think we do, in between. And it seems microscopic activities it is true. But if we see the big picture, every action of ours start to create a snowball effect after sometime, (which is explained in chaos theory of life) that ultimately it is difficult to determine wheather it is good or bad. It seems what follows after seems true random. Too many variables to count after some time. Just like ripples in water, every action every tiny incident is inherently bound with everything happening everywhere, eventually. So, do we really have a free will in this chaos? or our thoughts are just some ripples which were determined by similar former actions which happened since the begining of time? This made me think, What if both determinism and true will are true at the same time? Imagine yourself. As long as you are not a hydrophobic leaf, you would think that 'you' have a free will. To the extent that you start an eternal search for some 'peace' some, 'status' some kind of a liberation. And this will of yours, (we can call it a desire) will continuesly feed for we will be there, just like a forest fire which keeps spreading, as long as there is wind, as long as there is dry grass and as long as there is desire. What will happen if there is a rain, even after months even after years. There will be a big rain, big enough, to put out the fire entirely. And it seems the life, has a free will. As long as there is fire, or life, there will be a free will. But once the fire is put out, there will be no free will, and there will be no life as well. Similarly death will be there, if there is life, and if there is no-one living, the death will no longer be there. Someone can argue that, well that is good for a fairly tale. Life is not as simple as jumble of words. And it is true. Life is not a jumble of words. I am sure the meaning of life, is not written not in English, and not in any other language that man made. We are fools if we think that it is. And if we look carefully you would see all we have done since our birth is jumbling our words. To identify a new meaning. Using same old words, that we used foreever, to get a meaning of happiness. If you read the article on language you would know, where we go wrong. Hence, I invite you to tap into your conciousness with new intutions provided by mindfulness to go beyond words and find the meaninging of life and death for yourself. It is not my story, you know what is happening in your story, and give it a rest from the eternal search. In summary deterministic world and free will, when we look at life we can see life is having features of both determinism and free will. And these are just concepts which themselves bounded by limits of language. Hence, neither is true or false. It is difficult to see the deterministic nature of life. Mindfulness is the science we use to understand our true nature.

  • Choosing peace over Happiness - The Caucasian Chalk circle

The Caucasian Chalk Circle, Is a play by Bertolt Brecht, written in 1944. It’s a parable about justice and motherhood, set within the context of a land dispute in the Soviet Union after World War II . Plot The story begins with two Soviet collective farms arguing over who should control a fertile valley. To ease the tension, a singer tells the tale of “The Chalk Circle,” set in the country of Georgia. The main plot follows a servant girl named Grusha who rescues an abandoned baby, Michael, during a political uprising. Despite the dangers, she raises him as her own . Years later, the biological mother, Natella, returns and demands Michael back. The dispute is settled by a judge who uses a chalk circle to determine the true mother. The Judge draws a circle in chalk and ask two mothers to pull the child to them. When the child starts to cry in pain, Grusha gave up early letting Natella to win. Grusha’s genuine love and care for Michael are proven when she refuses to harm him, unlike Natella . This play highlight's themes of justice, sacrifice, and the true meaning of motherhood , in general. But it also hides some important philosophy about our mindfulness practice . Happiness Greed. Let's replace the child with happiness. It maybe the happiness you get from eating sugar. Listening to a song, or by taking a walk. It can be happiness you can buy from a shop or attain from meditation. It may be happiness which is drawn by an artist in a painting. It may come from your child, like in the play. Or from some close relatives or friends. Now, imagine you are playing against the nature. To win the happiness you must pull it towards yourself. If you win you are guaranteed some happiness. You will be able to enjoy a beautiful sunset, drinking your cocktail with a plate of baked fish listening to fine music in an elegant hut by the beach if you win. This is how we play the game. This is how we were taught to play the game. And I find this everywhere. Everyone talks about being successful. Being happy. Being in a continuous loop of growth and development. They follow the seven habits of successful people. Some twelve, to some, it is The Secret - Law of Attraction. But when you take a back, step back and look at the end game we see, that there is a barrier. We are not allowed to leave the courtroom with the prize that we intend to keep with ourselves forever. At the door, we are asked to drop everything we have gained. So, what would you do. Would you be wise enough to recognize, the game from the point of view of the Judge? Choosing peace over Happiness. The game, that we play in life, is just like the game in the Caucasian Chalk circle. The winners are not the ones who plays with greed. Winners are the ones who plays with pure intentions in heart. This must be emphasized and be carved into our information sphere from early life. So, if we are not allowed to bring our winning money to the next part of the game, maybe why put effort to win it at all? Someone may argue, no, with the winnings you can do better. You can help others to win their games. But is that all? Can we fool ourselves everything we do by pulling the happiness child is to help others in turn. That is to return it to the mother? Let's imagine you sit down to meditate. No, this time you decide you will want peace, not happiness from it. And you attain the peace, for some time, and you start to lose it. Then you get angry and ask why? did you play the game correctly? Maybe it was wrong, Wanting the peace is also wanting something. If the mind is working according to universal rules, then it is not ours by default to what happens in it. The moment you want to change its path you are trying to pull the child to yourself. Hence the greed is at work there before even you know it. Maybe the way to win the game is to lessen the power of the will. As the will is the one which keeps feeding the life.

  • Just Do it - to be it

You are a writer when you write. You are a poet, when you poet. You are a Traveller, when you travel. You are a Joker, when you joke. You are a singer, when you sing You are a professor, when you profess You are a creator, when you create You are an artist, when you art You are a seeker, when you seek You are a thinker, when you think You are a sound, when you listen and You are a wise man, when you realize this! Just do it - to be it. It is a simple fact, but can have an enormous impact in life, in everything you do. I would explain a little bit more. But if you have read my previous article, you would understand that it is same as, saying " what you see is not what it is but who you are " Being Happy Let's get into details, of the benefits of knowing the fact. I can give you few examples. The other day I went to a daily boring task with my kids. While they were at it, I wanted to be happy. Then I realized, If I wanted to be happy, I am not "Happy". I'm just "want to be happy". And knowing this fact, just made me "Wise". And I simply became "the happy" You can try the trick, but more importantly remember the principle. It is not what is but who you are. Being a writer Today, when I started to write, I realized that I wanted to be a writer. I have dreamed of it over and over again. A professional writer. And I realized, the mistake now. It would never make me a writer. Wanting to be a writer would never make me a writer. I am writing just now. See,? I just wrote another sentence. I am already a writer. It makes the task more enjoyable and happier. There is a magical writer, in this consciousness, exact second of this. That is just to illustrate the fact that, wanting something is going to bring you sadness while, realizing what you are engaged in right now is, what brings happiness. Deep dive " Just do it - to be it." How can we put it in more practice? Let's say you are doing a daunting task, that you do not really want to do. You do not want to write that letter. Open that email or go to that meeting. Let's imagine that scenario. The meeting is coming up. At 10 o'clock and you are anxious that you have to do a presentation. You are being an introvert , do not like it at all. So, essentially what you are right now is 'Anxious'. And when you realize the fact that you are anxious, you will instead become wise. And anxious will have no place to stay in consciousness . And you even can drink a cup of coffee, to be a cup of coffee instead. There is an error when I put this thought into words. Did you notice it? I never said, there is, You- > anticipate You-> anxious You-> wise You-> a cup of coffee What you see is not what it is, but who you are. It is more like, -> Anticipate -> Anxious -> Wise -> A cup of coffee As ultimately 'You' are all these things(and not). This is one way to understand truths of nature. Now you will get some ideas about the little scarecrow story , previously I have written. Essentially, all this is just some practical advice to be more mindful and practice mindfulness with wisdom. Hope you liked it. Connect with the blog for more. A mountain Looking at a little mountain Feeling the breeze I realize happiness in not somewhere else It has to be here Now And I became a mountain.

  • Observing Wildfires

There was a mountain, some 10km away when we were kids. A mountain with a lush green forest, and steep slopes covered with high grass. During dry season, due to human activities and nature, it caught fires. Whatever the reason to begin with these wildfires went on burning everything down, slowly crawling towards the mountain peak. And from so far away, even without seeing the burning mountain, we could smell the fire. Tiny pieces of burned up ash from grass, flown by the wind landed in our garden. And we knew, it was the wildfire, although not noticeable to the busy adult eye, we children had eyes which could pick up tiny flying objects more easily, hence we knew, when it was a fire. Have you seen a wildfire? Have you observed a one? Then this article is for you. Although science behind these wildfires is fascinating to learn, it is not the objective here. In par with the objective of the blog, as it claims, we try to help you observe the world in a mindful eye , by providing little intuitions into the phenomena of nature, so you can do it by yourself when you are taking your own journey, which is what you are doing currently. A long time ago, someone argued, the life is like a fire. He used the fact to illustrate how 'the soul' carries on from one life to the other. Like a fire spreading from one stick to the other. It is not the same fire, and it is not a new one as well. When we observe the mind in silence, I noticed that this is also another good way to explain current affairs of life as well. To do that I want you to imagine a wildfire. Observing wildfires. Let's do that. Let's imagine a wildfire. Due to some unknown reason, it started. Maybe nature, maybe God, maybe there is no traceable depth into it. Now the fire is spreading across the plain. It goes from one grass leaf to the other. One bush to the other. It is not the same fire, which is burning now, which began. The first fire is no longer there. But we cannot say it is not at the same time, as the fire keeps rapidly changing, we cannot pinpoint to any fire at all. We can never go back to the old fire. We cannot predict the future fire. As it depends on what comes next as food to the current fire. It may stop, it may keep going, but quite sure, it will not go beyond the earth. Let's not consider all the possibilities as unknown is always bigger. Now, let's look at the similarity with our lives to a wildfire. Observing the mind. We started, due to unknown reasons, at some point. And we developed a consciousness. In this dried-up grassland which is called the "Body". We continuously create the wildfire- or our consciousness upgrades each second passes by. Now it is fire number 23456 if we count by days, but we can count by hours seconds or milliseconds. It is not the same fire, just a second before, it is not the same fire. It is never predictable that what will happen to the fire in the future, in the next second as it will depend on what comes on its path. Which is not decided by the fire. Isn't it fascinating. That there is so much similarity of our brain function, to something so simple as a wildfire. So, where is the complexity comes from? The complexity comes from, when the wildfire starts to believe that it is not a product of nature, but with a free will . When it doesn't see that what is there to burn is what nature presents, but believes it is capable of going beyond earth. Essentially, it is like someone cursed the wildfire to have a life. What are your thoughts on wildfires? Have you seen one lately? Every fire ends in Ash

  • That one good thing about the Thief- story

This is a story which I read from some old book. I can't exactly remember from where, but it was a long time ago. I enjoyed reading It as I can remember, and it was a wonderful story about a thief. Story goes like this, Once upon a time there was a famous teacher, old days where students lived with teachers until their education is finished, and at the end if you are very bright you might get married to the "Teachers Daughter" as the price for your brightness. (lol- Indian traditions) Like all teachers, nowadays he had nasty students in class, one in particular and all these teachers tricks to correct his course in life did not work on him. Teacher gave up at the end. One day he asked the student privately and said, "Look son, I am done tiring myself teaching you. Both of us know it is not going to help you being here. So, I am letting you go. But promise me one thing. Promise me however bad it is that you would never ever Lie to anyone." The boy was emotionally involved by the teacher's speech, and he promised himself that he would follow his last advice. As the story goes. The boy became a Thief. He was a great thief, and there was no thief like him in the kingdom. He did all the bad things in the world, yet he never lied. He didn't have to lie as he was the best thief in the country. One day the thief decided to break the treasury of the King's palace. As it happened that night the King wanted to see his countrymen and disguised himself as a commoner he went for a walk. He met the thief on his way back to the palace at night. They had a conversation as follows. King: Where are you going my friend? Thief: I am going to break into the treasury of the Palace, to grab some treasure. King was now surprised by his answer and boldness in that wanted to investigate. King: Really? Do you need help. I know some ways to escape the guards. Thief: Hmm.. I could use some help. King: What would you give me if I helped you escape? Thief: I will give you half of what I steal King: Done! Deal, we will do it. And that night king helped the thief to break into his own treasury and steal. The Thief came back with two big Diamonds. And gave one to the King. And king asked, Is that all? Thief: Yes, this is all I could steal without getting caught. Afterall this will be enough stealing for a Year! King: Wasn't there anything else you could grab? Thief: Listen my friend, you can trust me on this, there were three diamonds. I only took two because If I steal the third, I would not be able to divide the third diamond tonight. I can't give you exactly half. And meeting you again is too risky. King was very satisfied with the truth telling Thief. And he felt that this Thief is someone he can trust although he is a Thief. Following morning King summoned the head of the treasury and said, "Minister of Treasury, I had a dream last night that there is someone harming me. I am feared that already something has happened. I want you to audit the treasury and give me a report." The minister was a cunning man, and like all the ministers from that era until today have done, he ceased the opportunity when he found that two of the diamonds were stolen. He reported to the king that "Three most valuable diamonds are missing from Treasury." King smiled to himself. And that was the end of the Minister of Treasury! And King found out whereabouts of the Thief and made him his New Minister. And the Thief lead a noble life since then. How did you enjoy the story? I can summarize all the morals given by the story, but it will spoil the fun. So, I will leave as it is. Let's be truthful Thieves at least. Thank you for reading: That one good thing about the Thief- story you may also like to read: Story of a gentle Giant - A tree . Seize the day Carpe Diem

  • Power of creation.

Imagine you woke up one day with the power of creation. You woke up one day with power of creation which is powerful enough to change the destiny. Ah! if you can't let's do it together. Why not my friend, we have the ability to imagine, which is next to the power of creation. Look at the monkeys and Deers, they still struggle on the trees and savannahs, while we left the jungle a long time ago. Living in AC rooms or heaters, looking at those sceneries we left a long time ago, on a comfortable luxurious bed made of fur, on 3D television, we are just living a life at the edge of the creators Realm. So, why not imagine this? You wake up tomorrow, with the responsibility and ability of the creator. What would you create? Following as an example. The power of creation I feel an enormous sense of urge to be creative. To create a world. To create a tree, and to create some birds and a melody for them to sing. To create a frog, to climb the tree, and some ants to feed its hungry belly. You cannot, so I painted it in my mind. If you have the power of creation, let's look at it rationally what will you do? Will you create such things as trees and birds and frogs and ants? You would not? Why should you, you have the ability to create it perfectly, without cruelty. You would make all the animals eat plants, there would be no killing. Then what? Animals populate and eat all the plants, as their growth is unchecked, now you have to create unlimited fast growing plants to keep up with the growth of animal population, I bet, it would be difficult. So, you make animals who do not depend on food, let them depend on sunlight, and you create a sun which does not end up burning. An immortal sun for the immortal animals . These animals are so perfect, that they do not feel hunger, they are constantly happy only, and they do not die. And you get bored, after some time looking at your perfect garden, and think, well, atleast there should be some cruelty to make it a little bit interesting. So, you think of adding some jelousy, greed , some sense of value into the minds of these poor animals who are at your mercy. It is my f----ing imagination. I am the creator. You have no say in what I do ! Oh, that is only my imagination. You may do better. I am sure of it. You may create a world to satisfy your urges perfectly. But As you have the power of creation, as you can built an immortal person, that seems stupid to think about constant stimulation is the way to go. It proves the fact that we are able to enjoy because we know that it will end one day. This made me think of following facts If I have the power of creation, creating perfect immortal things seems absurd idea, in long term. Creating not perfect cruel, or dying things, is cruel anyway. As I have the power of creating the former. What is the solution, If I have the power of creation, I would decide, I would not create anything anyway. Creating anything, perfect or not, is absurd. If it is true? How come we came to live by? I do not want to believe that someone created us with such imperfections, as I would not do that, if I were, given the powers even in this human form. So, I like to believe, it is evolution, no matter how unlikely the monkeys dancing on the roof of my house are going to be our neighbours one day. Maybe there are forces which we do not understand. However, I realise it does not matter, as it all is just my imagination. And what you read is your imagination not mine. Thank you for reading the power of creation.

  • Existential Nihilism

Why does one exist? That's not my problem. One does exist. The thing to do is to take no notice but go at it on the run and to keep on going right on until you die. -Simone de Beauvoir Existential Nihilism This is an interesting quote which I hear from time to time from different people. Because I like to often ask the question what the meaning of life. They answer in different forms. And above answer does not come from idiots. I would say that is the attitude of vast majority of atheists and many more. What does it mean? Nihilism is that you do believe nothing has any meaning. Like it is a deterministic world. If everything is determined there is nothing, we can do about anything as there is no free will. Even if you think anything that would be pre-determined. Existential nihilism does mean that existence has no meaning. This does mean that telos of life is just an imagination which happened in the minds of humans due to the laws of nature. When I read above quote my initial thought was. Well, that is dumb. That is dumbest quote I have ever read. There has to be a meaning in life. If we believe that it does not, we would be achieving nothing. There would not be a heaven or hell to salvage or punish us in our afterlives. When i question someone what is the meaning of life? What are you going to achieve at the end of the day. You would answer its nothing. Then I would ask then why live? Why eat. If you achieve nothing by the time you die, it doesn't matter living till that right? It is the absurdism at its core. Alabre Camus was a believer in absurdism . I do not want to believe such a statement in blind faith. I am sure these people did realize these ideas only after thourouly investigating current opposite arguments. They surely did give a good fight in their minds with ideas before they did see the dragon scroll is empty. After all, that it's a relative truth when they talk about there is no meaning in life. What if the real meaning of life is to seek that truth yourself? What is the real meaning of life is to take yet another absurd journey towards nothingness or valuelessness of life? Now think about the following quote from Aldous Huxley. “ Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored. ” In summary, I see there are two kinds of people who answer the meaning of life, is nothing. One group of people are simply ignorent ones, who do not want to think about life. They are guided by their constant thirst to achieve their goals and cravings, and blinded to the absurdism of what they do. Other group of people is are seekers/ philosophers who believe in existential Nihilism, at the end of their journey, seeking truth everywhere and found nothing. They found nothing existing outside their conciousness , and they have seen the dragron scroll themselves. They have tasted the emptiness, and walk free of the cravings and attachments. And there is a big gap, between these two groups. Majority, unfortunately are the former, and they blindly believe the latter. A good anology to understand this is by looking at the Allegory of the cave.

  • Agnostics Theist, Atheist and justice.

Background. There are two people arguing about the existence of God. One believes the God is in every one of us. And it seems, true if God is all mighty and powerful, like I have argued in the chapter on Apple juice and existence of God . The other person is a believer in God, but not inside of us, but in outside. Now, to prove the point, he took a stone and hit a bystander who happened to walk by. He friend asked why did you do that? Well, cannot I? You are the one who said, I am the God, and so does everyone else. So, does it matter, one God is doing a thing to another God. If you are telling me I am wrong, that there is no justice in that, both cannot be true at the same time. Either there is justice, which is decided by the God. Or there is no justice, when God lives in every one of us. Agnostics Theist and Atheist When you look at above argument some interesting facts arises. You may ask, well this is an argument about God, between two variations of theist. But, when we look at the question more carefully, from the Atheist point of view, we can see, believing God, is in every one of us is just as saying we are no different from each other, and no different from 'God'. So, everyone is equal. And if everyone is equal, then 'God' is just another name for human. So, truly speaking there is no definite barrier between, who believes that the God is living inside of us and an Atheist. Neither there is Agnostics. Agnostics neither believes and or denies existence of God. And if they were asked the same ethical question about justice of Good or bad, they will also have answers which align with an Atheist. Deep dive into Justice? So, does there exist something like justice, in its platonic form ? If you would ask me, I would say, justice is another human made concept. All I can see are interwoven chaos of nature fluctuating to the disturbances of each other. Just like ripples of the sea . However, it is nice to think about things of God's realm, while we can. Following is a chapter on Justice in the book of what is time , which I think will reinforce the above Idea that the Justice is human made. War crime and peace. Fact that at war, crime is considered as less criminal Let's imagine a criminal, let's imagine a criminal who has done a lot of crimes, serious crimes from theft to killing innocent men and women. Now imagine one day the criminal wakes up and realizes that he wants to become a good person. Despite all the crimes he has done his inner self awakens and decides that he is to end the criminal life forever. And he does go to the god’s court and asks for forgiveness. What do you think God should do? Should god punish him by sending him to a prison? Or should the god punish him inflicting the same pain as he has put others through? If the god is pure and kind, I would suggest otherwise. I would suggest the god will understand his good intentions and grant him permission to grant him to be good. Do not you agree, after all it is god. God is unlimited kindness, how can he be having evil thoughts like sending a man to the underworld? And the next question is somewhat difficult. Now imagine the same man, after God's punishment, he falls into the evils again and does another crime. This time he is facing the same God in the same court of justice and asked for forgiveness. What should God do this time? Should God punish the man? Or should God think this man has broken his words against the court, this time he should be punished more? I would suggest otherwise, if God is pure and kind, he will forgive the poor man, and further he will forgive each and every time he appears in the court. Until one day he will really keep his promise and never appear in court, he will be treated with kindness.  What we do in our courts today, are we practicing God's forgiveness and helping those who committed crimes to get out of their thoughts of harming others, or we are practicing evil against them, inflicting the same pain that they have caused others and expecting them to magically turn over to become good. How can we judge what someone does in some circumstances, as we know we are the ones who teach our children that diamonds and rubies are more valuable than common rocks. We are the ones who teach our children life is about pleasuring ourselves and taking care of ourselves, and give these measurement tools for measuring themselves. Now we blame them for becoming evil on their own? Have you ever not committed a crime, like even in mind, stolen from others, craved some richess, and wished someone evil? What if the circumstances were there for you to actually do it? Who is to be blamed? What court would you like to be in? The human court where you will be judged by fellow humans with the same human weakness, or the God’s court with kindness and love where you will be given a chance to reflect on yourself yet again.  Love is forgiveness, relentless, pure and repetitive, without any remorse. There would be less prisons, less divorces and less pain that we inflict on others if we understand the nature of love. As the paragraph suggest, justice is another spectrum. This is why animal ethics is less important than human ethics. Life of a dog drowning is less important than a human drowning, hardly anyone who will risk their lives saving one. • Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored- Aldous Huxley.

This is one of the great advice Aldous Huxley has given to the humankind. It urges us to be vigilant about the facts, not ignorant. There are two Suttle different ways to look at the above quote, although not obvious at first. However, Like the quote claims facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored. So, even if you ignore, or do not care, that doesn't mean there are no things to understand, no truths to revealed on above. Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored- Aldous Huxley. Arguments for, Let's look at things, which are promising in proving the above is correct. Remember today, you woke up in the morning and went to work, or school or whatever you are doing, to spend time. And one thing led to another and now you are reading. What facts have you ignored so far? I would say many, think about following facts. There was sunrise today, there were clouds when you walked out of your home. There were black cars, and white ones you passed on your way to work. There were birds singing outside your window when you had breakfast. There were cells in your body which died today, and thousands more were built Your weight fluctuated throughout the day. The population of earth rose, from thousands, while our earth aged one more day, just like you. You forgot, some memories which will never come back again into your consciousness. Well, not all of them are true for you, but you get the idea right? Facts do exist even if you are not aware of them. Infact, as you can see, the facts which exist outside your consciousness are far more than facts that you know. If you look at the arguments about time in the article understanding time , you will see that, in a simple observation that we make there is infinite amount of information, that we can never comprehend. One way to understand this is by becoming Quicksilver in your mind. So, it is this unseen world that Aldous Huxley is describing. He is letting us know about the facts that we do not think about exist. So, even the truths about life will continue to exist even if it doesn't come to your consciousness. Even if you ignored it. Even if you disliked it or liked it. Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored- Aldous Huxley. Arguments against, But there is another school of thoughts backed by science, that above is a relative truth. We can argue in your own relative world, the facts do not exist, outside your consciousness. There was sunrise today only when you were aware of it, there were clouds when you walked out of your home only existed when you looked at it. There were no black cars, but only one red one looked like your Neighbour's, and white one which nearly hit you. There were birds singing outside your window when you had your tea which made you think about nightingales. There were cells in your body which died today, and thousands more were built, these existed only when you read this article. Your weight fluctuated throughout the day only you were aware of this when you looked at your mirror. The population of earth rose, from thousands, while our earth aged one more day, just like you, - maybe it did not, but you do not know by how much. Who are you to age? Your age existed only when you think about it. You forgot, some memories which will never come back again into your consciousness, and these did never exist as they never even became thoughts. Can you see now, we can argue both ways. Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored, is a relative truth. It is true in some circumstances, and it is not in others. Really speaking this is the cat in the box argument in quantum physics. So, even if you ignored, that everything you believe is a relative truth, that fact that it is, will exist. If you would like to read more about philosophical thoughts, for your grey matter, following articles would help. How to be happy Denis Diderot way.
