Why absence makes more sense than the presence.

Imagine a party where everyone is invited, including you and all of your gang. And it is a very big party. Everyone is there, your bosses, your friends, celebrities, unknown guests. And the party is like one of the parties given by great Gatsby. But imagine you are unable to attend this party.

At the last moment, something just came up. Now you are unable to attend. Let's say it's not you who is unable to attend. Maybe it's your friend who is the biggest star of the group. Now he is not coming.

Can you imagine such a situation? Remember the Great Gatsby? He threw all his parties yet did not see the presence of everyone but the absence of Daisy.

What do you think would happen then?

People engage in lively conversation at a dimly lit gathering. A table with candles and drinks in the foreground adds warmth.
Party

It is likely most of them would carry on without even realizing that you are not there. But for the people who matter in your life, they will feel the presence of your absence. They might even talk about it. When you are absent, especially if you are the chief guest, everyone will miss you. But it made me realize sometimes the absence makes more presence than the presence in life. Now imagine the party you are having is the ability for you to enjoy the life. And the members are your eyes ears nose and the tongue.

Why absence make more sense than presence?

Imagine you have no eyes, what would the world be like? If you can't imagine, of course I have written a whole article about it, which is called a blind man's word. Imagine that you don't have a yes, what is a world without any sound. Can you imagine that? Then you know sometimes it is nice to think about the absence. As we are so much used to the presence that we take it granted, what we should cherish.

Imagine having no arms. Can you imagine that? I bet you cannot. I also could not until I met a boy who lost all his limbs. So, when you feel that the life is unfair, the life gives you hard, difficult and unexpected things which you cannot even think about solving. Think twice, you are already at the party, you are just complaining about Beer. When you have this attitude about life, sometimes you don't need anything to enjoy which I would say the biggest advantage.

Colorful polka dot balloons tied to a chair in a bright room with a white brick wall; cheerful and festive atmosphere.
Party

You can just walk on the road like a beggar and still watch the party going on in your mind without getting drunk with beer. So, let's be mindful for a day, let's be mindful for a minute. And remember the absence makes more sense than the presence. I can give you 100 examples to prove the sentence, but the best would be leave everything and say nothing. As that would be the best example from the lot.

Maybe it is nothing for after all. But we need something to hang on until our minds get wiser with information.

I just realized why when Passenger sang about Letting her go, it became an instant hit as he was talking about the presence of absence. If you can't remember look at the lyrics.

Well, you only need the light when it's burning low

Only miss the sun when it starts to snow

Only know you love her when you let her go

Thank you for reading.

And conversely sometimes you already know you love them and for that reason you let them go.

There’s a dialogue in the tv show Suits where someone tells a character that if he really loves his fiancé, he will let her go so she doesn’t get tied up in his very messy life.

Yeah I have seen many occasions like that. In dramas, in real life. Maybe we should think about life and the happiness same way. It's not nice to grab, maybe let go is the way.
