Why you should follow your passion?

So what do you observe about life? From here I can see. Many people I meet in my life. Some are lazy, some are hard working. Some are grumpy Some are smiling all the time. Some are anxious Some are silent. It seems everyone is different. Is it good? Of course it is. How boring it is to be Alexander 234568187. If population is A clone of all the Alexander's there would be no Newtons and Einsteins. And life would be so boring. But there is a problem.

If you are Alexander 234568187 what is applied to Alexander 1 would be applicable to you too. But it's not. You are just Tom, Tim or Timmothy. Even markedly different from your parents and siblings. There is a little bit of everything in you. Even footprints from the first mitochondria that your ancestors engulfed. We can say what is applicable to your parents or siblings or even your race, is not applicable to you. So, there is no magical formula for a happy, successful life. There cannot be a universal imprint, or universal rules. It is wise to look for our purpose in life individually and alone once in a while as you only know about yourself. I am not sure what it is. It may be a passion to make paper planes, to photograph beautiful girls, or collect chicken eggs in a farm.

For a fact life seems to be a little too short to learn everything and do everything. And apparently everything seems to be valueless. The races we created among ourselves are only artificial, so I suggest we stick to what we are good at and what we can enjoy. Even if it doesn't make a pile of money it will do good to your mental health and your soul. 

Just the other day I was watching a youtube video of shaving cow hooves. The channel was run by a young man who called himself a hoof doctor. There was something entertaining about treating a cow with a limp. I was waiting impatiently until he cleaned the hoof to see all the abscess drained and treated. I couldn't stop watching hoof after hoof. And not only me, his hoof videos had millions of views. Why? 

It seems the guy was fascinated and passionate about what he is doing. I am sure he enjoys it even without posting them online. I am sure there are hundreds of hoof doctors out there. But never thought their boring job can accumulate an audience like this guy did.

Hoof doctor is only one example. I am sure you wouldn't believe anything I say unless it's backed up by a billion dollars. How about Jeff bezoes. You would trust him right. And as a successful entrepreneur now in his prime once he only had a garage for his store and an online platform. But according to the billionaire himself he was passionate about what he was doing. And he had quit his job, and in his own words "you need to make a call, when you find out what you are passionate about." He has exactly done this and proven it is worth even when we consider dollars.

Once I saw a cartoon, a classroom in a jungle. And the teacher, who is a wise owl, asks all the students to climb a tree. And monkeys do it in seconds. Bird flew to the top and was the second. But the elephant, the ostrich and the fish were hopeless. I can only compare this to our classroom. Not everyone is good at math. But more importantly, those who are good at math may not be passionate about it. It's useless trying to be a monkey when you are a fish. And unnecessary to drown trying swimming when you are a bird.  It doesn't serve you well, nor the society.
